Set up the Loader
From download to your first game, one step at a time. Each step takes a minute or two.
Windows may warn you about the Loader
The Loader is not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen can show “Windows protected your PC” when you run it. Compare the zip’s SHA-256 with the one on the download page first. If they match, choose More info, then Run anyway. If they do not match, delete the file and e-mail support@wardenclub.com.
If your antivirus blocks the file, leave the antivirus on and e-mail us what it reported.
How to get the SHA-256 on Windows
Open PowerShell and run this command, then compare the long code it prints:
Get-FileHash "$env:USERPROFILE\Downloads\<zip file name>"
Step 1: Download the Loader
On your Windows PC (Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit), open the Download page and download the latest version. The Loader runs on Windows only.
To be sure the file is ours, compare its SHA-256 with the one shown on that page.
Step 2: Extract it and start the Loader
The download is a zip with nothing to install. Extract the whole folder somewhere you keep programs, then run WardenClub Loader.exe inside it. The Loader keeps itself up to date from then on.
Step 3: Sign in
In the Loader, click Sign in. Your browser opens the WardenClub sign-in page: sign in, or create an account if you do not have one yet.
Once you approve, the browser hands you back to the Loader by itself. If that does not happen, the page shows a one-time code: copy it into the Loader.
Step 4: Get access to a game
Pick your game in the Shop and activate a plan, or claim its free trial where there is one. Payment is in crypto, and access unlocks by itself once the network confirms it.
Step 5: Refresh access in the Loader
Back in the Loader, refresh your access. The game you activated shows up with its features.
Step 6: Start playing
Choose the game in the Loader and start it. When a game shows Updating, its features are being adapted to a new game version and your time is paused until it is back; the Status page shows every game at a glance.
